Become a Coastal Pet professional

At Coastal Pet Collective, we’re building a trusted, supportive network of pet professionals who care about each other and the pets of their community. Pet Professionals can take advantage of industry specific meet-ups, supplemental income opportunities, peer support, group volunteer projects, advocacy efforts, community updates and more.

THERE ARE NO REGISTRATION FEES OR COSTS TO JOIN AS A PET PROFESSIONAL

If you're interested in becoming a pet professional member of our collective, you'll start by filling out our online registration form. We'll ask you to tell us your role within the pet community and to provide 2-3 references OR the name of the organization you're affiliated with. After you've submitted your application, our team will follow up within 2 business days to update you on the status of your membership.

Approved pet professionals have the option to offer their services to the community through Coastal Pet Collective's platform.

We do not take any fees from our professionals.

They set their own rates and take on only the jobs that work for them.

​Pet pros can opt in or out of offering services at any time.

​

We require a minimum of one year of experience in an animal related field, along with professional references from within the local community.

To help ensure safety and trust, members providing services must complete a background check and be CPR certified for pets, or be willing to obtain certification. We also strongly recommend (but do not require) that all members offering home services become insured and bonded to further protect themselves and the owners they serve. If you’re not there yet, don’t worry, we’re here to guide you through each step, from certification to coverage and beyond.
