Hi, I’m Kristy, founder of Coastal Pet Collective and a proud Eastern Shore local. As a veterinary assistant and practice manager, I’ve spent over a decade building my career around animals and supporting the people who care for them. After experiencing a medical emergency with my own pet in 2024, I recognized a growing need for more accessible support, trusted guidance, and reliable care options for local families and their beloved companions. That experience became the inspiration for the collective we have today.

 

Drawing from my background in veterinary medicine and clinical staffing experience, my goal is to transform insight into action by creating an organization meant to support both sides of the community. Our collective is a space where pet professionals can find connections and grow their careers, and also where pet owners can easily find reliable services, guidance and assistance. I personally meet every member of the collective and ensure all who choose to offer services are CPR certified and background-checked. I also verify references, business history, and reviews to confirm credibility.
